Jens Ansø is a Danish knife designer and maker, his designs are unique, functional and beautiful with an incredible attention to detail. Jens has recently launched his Shop-Built line. Shop-Built refers to the knives that are proudly manufactured in-house in Denmark, crafted by Jens and his team to near custom standards. This development has made Ansø designs more available whilst maintaining the precise craftsmanship and premium manufacturing quality already synonymous with his name, allowing more customers to experience the unique excellence of Ansø of Denmark.
We're very proud to present the Ansø of Denmark TOKO.
The TOKO is a highly versatile, larger utility folding knife unlike anything you've used before. Engineered for exceptional lightness, it features innovative and beautiful “Mud-Track” milled weight-reduction pockets within the Titanium frame, reminiscent of all-terrain tyre tread, allowing it to virtually vanish in your pocket. Jens is proudly introducing his future signature hollow-ground blade, achieved through CNC grinding. The handsome hollow offers superior cutting performance and is lightweight without compromising strength. Whether you're handling everyday tasks or more demanding jobs, the TOKO is the ideal everyday carry companion.
Jens has perfected the button-lock flipper. The flipper tab is sleek, unobtrusive and perfectly placed. When combined with the beautifully tuned detent, the deployment is slick and luxurious. The button is perfectly positioned and when activated, the blade will fall closed on Skiff ceramic caged ball-bearings that provide a glassy-smooth, deeply satisfying experience when opening and closing the blade.

The Details
You've never experienced thoughtful design like this. Every element of the TOKO is meticulously considered, from the uniquely contoured scales, clothed in an impossibly fine diamond texture, that maximise weight reduction whilst also filling the hand, to the sleek backspacer, which includes a discreet, low-profile lanyard hole that remains hidden when not in use, preserving the knife’s clean, refined silhouette. The Cuprum colourway is a lovely petrol blue with hints of gold along the edges of the scales. We won't spoil it for you... there are so many fantastic design elements to find throughout the knife.
