Iconic
The Spyderco Police Model is one of the most recognisable folding knife designs ever produced by Spyderco. First introduced in the early 1980s, the Police Model was developed to meet the demanding requirements of professional users while maintaining the clean, functional aesthetic that helped define Spyderco’s early success. Over the decades the design has evolved through several refinements, yet it has remained remarkably faithful to its original concept. This version continues that tradition with the classic stainless steel handle construction that many enthusiasts associate with the model’s heritage, offering a sleek, slim profile and a distinctly traditional look within the Spyderco range.
This example is in like new condition, complete even with the protective stickers applied from the factory. Complete with original box (which is a little creased in places) and original papers.

Timeless
Technically, the Police Model features a hollow-ground blade made from VG-10 stainless steel, known for its balanced combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. The blade includes the characteristic swedge along the spine that has long been associated with the design, while Spyderco’s round opening hole allows convenient one-handed deployment. A sturdy back lock mechanism secures the blade during use and contributes to the knife’s symmetrical, fully ambidextrous layout. The stainless steel handle is built with screw-together construction and fitted with a four-position pocket clip that supports left- or right-handed carry in either tip-up or tip-down orientation, giving the Police Model practical versatility alongside its well-established design.
