Compact Control, Refined Design

Designed by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser and influenced by the innovative work of French knifemaker Fred Perrin, the Swick 6 is a compact fixed blade built around control and retention. Its defining feature is the Perrin-inspired index-finger ring, which anchors the knife securely in hand and promotes confident handling in dynamic situations. Sized with a slightly smaller 23.1mm diameter hole, this version offers a tailored fit while maintaining the design’s characteristic stability. The full-tang construction and subtle pistol-grip handle geometry create a natural, locked-in feel, complemented by peel-ply-textured scales and a carefully positioned section of jimping along the spine for additional thumb purchase.

This example is in pristine, like new condition. Complete with original box, papers, sheath and chain, the latter two items being new in the plastic still.

"Superbly functional, probably the best neck knife there is." - Mr. Narwhal

Retention-Focused. Purpose-Driven.

The blade itself is precision machined from LC200N, an ultra-corrosion-resistant steel well suited to demanding environments and features a full-flat-ground Wharncliffe profile for clean, controlled cutting performance. Available in both PlainEdge and fully serrated SpyderEdge formats, it offers versatility within its specialised footprint. A custom-moulded Boltaron sheath is supplied as standard, complete with an adjustable G-Clip and breakaway ball chain to support a range of discreet carry options. Compact yet deliberate in its execution, the Swick 6 reflects a focused design philosophy centred on security, control and dependable materials.
