The Zero Tolerance 0055 is one of the more unconventional designs to emerge from Zero Tolerance, created in collaboration with Brazilian custom knifemaker Gustavo Cecchini of GTC Knives. Known for blending mechanical innovation with striking aesthetics, Cecchini’s work often pushes beyond traditional knife design, and the 0055 is a clear reflection of that philosophy. Its angular profile and distinctive blade geometry give the knife a futuristic appearance, yet the overall form remains purposeful and surprisingly manageable in hand. Despite its larger dimensions, the slim profile and thoughtful balance allow it to carry comfortably in the pocket, making it an intriguing choice for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate knives that step outside conventional design boundaries.
This example is in excellent condition. The action is incredible owing to the edition of Skiff premium bearings. There is a small chip on the inside edge of the clip-side ti scale, pictured. Original box included, although the label is a little tatty.

Technically, the 0055 features a 3.75-inch blade crafted from CPM S35VN stainless steel, a modern powder metallurgy alloy valued for its balanced combination of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. The blade’s unusual modified reverse tanto profile is paired with a compound grind, creating a unique cutting geometry that emphasises precision near the tip while maintaining structural strength. The knife also incorporates Cecchini’s distinctive 'SLT' mechanism, a retractable flipper system that deploys the blade smoothly while preserving the clean lines of the handle when closed. Titanium frame-lock construction, a steel lockbar insert and a caged bearing pivot contribute to the knife’s solid lock-up and fluid action. Completing the design are intricately machined titanium handle scales, a floating backspacer and a practical pocket clip, resulting in a knife that combines technical ingenuity with high-end production craftsmanship.
