Refined Useability
The Bradley Folder 2 exemplifies Spyderco’s unwavering dedication to enhancing even the finest designs through its commitment to Constant Quality Improvement (C.Q.I.). While maintaining all the core attributes that made Gayle Bradley’s original design a favourite, this updated version is slimmer, lighter, and boasts improved ergonomics for a more refined experience. The slightly longer handle offers increased leverage and control, while the subtle texture and slim profile of the scales ensure a secure yet comfortable grip, even during extended use.
"This model has a cult following and it's easy to see why with it in-hand." - Mr. Narwhal
The blade is hollow-ground from CPM® M4 tool steel, a high-alloy, high-speed steel renowned for its exceptional wear resistance and toughness. The advanced particle metallurgy process used in its creation ensures a homogeneous structure that delivers superior grindability, dimensional stability, and durability. However, CPM M4 is a tool steel, not a stainless steel, so proper care is essential to prevent corrosion.
The Bradley Folder 2’s handle is built with robust, full skeletonised stainless steel liners, a high-strength LinerLock mechanism, and carbon fibre/G-10 laminate scales that slightly undersize the profile of the liners. This design delivers a hand-filling grip and excellent tactile feedback, while maintaining a slim, pocket-friendly profile. The versatile four-position hourglass clip supports a full range of carry options, including tip-up and tip-down carry on both left and right sides.
