Funky and functional
This limited-edition Sprint Run™ variant of the Dragonfly™ 2 features Carpenter® Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to deliver exceptional wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further refined through the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, resulting in an ultra-fine, highly homogeneous grain structure. Functionally comparable to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this high-performance steel forms the core of the knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade. To elevate this fantastic little Dragonfly 2 even further, the blade is finished with a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, while its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection moulded in a rich burgundy hue. In keeping with the striking black-and-burgundy aesthetic, the reversible deep-pocket wire clip, lock bar, and handle hardware all feature durable black coatings.
