A Future Classic
The Hundred Pacer is a unique experience, it's massive, striking and beautifully ergonomic, it's also one of the best slicers in the Spyderco lineup. The Hundred Pacer is already becoming a highly sought after discontinued collaboration. This example is like new, unused and uncarried. Complete with box.
"It's massive!" - Mr. Narwhal
The Deadly Taiwanese Viper
The Hundred Pacer is a truly distinctive folding knife, inspired by the venomous Taiwanese viper known for its “horned” nose. Its venom is said to be so potent that a victim bitten by the snake would only be able to take a hundred paces before succumbing to its effects. Designed by knife enthusiast Jonny Liao, the Spyderco Hundred Pacer translates the graceful curves of the snake’s head into a broad, sweeping, full-flat-ground blade.
The satin-finished PlainEdge™ blade is made from premium CTS® XHP powder metallurgy stainless steel, offering excellent wear resistance and edge retention. It features Spyderco’s signature Trademark Round Hole™, providing quick, reliable one-handed opening from either side, making it easy to deploy in any situation.
To mimic the texture and appearance of the snake’s skin, the Hundred Pacer boasts handle scales that are meticulously machined from layered G-10, creating a non-slip grip with a striking colour contrast. The knife’s skeletonised stainless steel liners, nested within the scales, complement the handle's open-backed construction, reducing overall weight while maintaining strength and durability. The robust LinerLock mechanism ensures the blade stays securely in place during use and can be easily disengaged with one hand. A reversible deep-pocket wire clip supports discreet, ambidextrous, tip-up carry, keeping the Hundred Pacer easily accessible and ready for action.
A stunning fusion of design, functionality, and inspiration, the Spyderco Hundred Pacer is an exceptional tool that reflects both nature’s beauty and the precision of Spyderco engineering.
