Compact Cutting Performance
The Ladybug is a long-standing bestseller and the smallest locking folder in the Spyderco range. This variant of the standard Ladybug 3 features a Hawkbill blade made from H-2 steel. H-2 folders and fixed blades are part of the Salt Series, a collection of water-friendly knives. As a member of this series, the Ladybug 3 Salt Hawkbill uses H-2, a nitrogen-based blade alloy that eliminates carbon, making it highly resistant to corrosion.

Built for the Water
The Hawkbill blade, reminiscent of an extended cat’s claw, wraps around what you're cutting, pulling the object in closer and maintaining continuous contact with the sharp edge. The curved hook also helps prevent material from sliding off or away from the blade. The H-2 hollow-ground blade comes in a SpyderEdge configuration for added cutting power.
Its lightweight FRN (fibreglass reinforced nylon) handle features Bi-Directional Texturing™ to prevent slipping in hand. The high-visibility Marine Yellow handle makes it easy to spot on the ground or in water. The Ladybug Hawkbill Salt is clip-less but includes a lanyard hole for attaching a lanyard or even a keyring.
