Crafted from premium CPM® 15V® tool steel, this blade offers the highest wear resistance of any cold-work steel currently available. With nearly 15% vanadium in its alloy composition, CPM 15V produces an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides, resulting in outstanding edge retention and long-lasting cutting performance. Each blade undergoes a specialised heat-treatment process developed by acclaimed custom knifemaker Shawn Houston, further enhancing its toughness and performance. The full-flat-ground blade not only delivers excellent slicing capability but also bears Houston’s distinctive “Triple B” logo, laser-engraved on the reverse side as a mark of authenticity.
