The SpydeRench is a practically unrivalled feat of engineering in the knife world. These never come up for sale. This example has been used and carried but is in excellent condition. There are some light general scuffs and scratches on the body of the wrench, the diamond file appears to have been used a little. The blade is pristine. The Spyderco T01 SpydeRench is a high-performance multi-tool that includes a genuine Spyderco locking knife blade, designed for one-handed opening and closing. Featuring a robust pocket clip for everyday carry, this innovative tool offers far more than just a blade.
Developed in collaboration with an aerospace engineer and Spyderco’s research and development team, the T01 is crafted from durable, corrosion-resistant 17-4 PH investment-cast stainless steel. It boasts an adjustable crescent wrench with a maximum jaw opening of 9/16", perfect for light mechanical tasks.
At the opposite end, you’ll find a comfortable, slip-joint plier with two grip settings and an ergonomic contour-cast handle—designed to eliminate pinched fingers. Integrated within the tool is a cleverly concealed set of four screwdriver bits: #2 and #3 Phillips-head, and #1 and #2 flat-head. The T01 also accommodates any standard 1/4" bit, including Allen keys and Torx bits, making it highly versatile and compatible with standard DIY tools.
A diamond-coated file is built in, featuring concave, convex, and flat sharpening surfaces, along with a small Phillips head and a hole starter on either end—ideal for quick fixes and on-the-go maintenance.
One of its standout features is the unique pivot pin system, which allows the tool to rotate and lock into an extended position. This transforms it into a full-sized, easy-to-grip screwdriver and crescent wrench. The knife and screwdriver segment can also be detached from the wrench, enabling simultaneous use of both tools. The full-sized SpyderEdge knife blade is made from 440C.
