The Spyderco Stovepipe is more than a folding knife — it’s a statement. Inspired by custom knifemaker David Rydbom’s striking “Bill the Butcher” design, this powerful cleaver-style folder brings custom-level craftsmanship to a production platform, blending bold aesthetics with serious cutting performance.
The stout blade is made from 4mm thick CPM 20CV stainless steel, a premium material known for outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance. Its deep hollow grind creates a razor-sharp edge with excellent slicing geometry, making it just as capable in the field as it is in your everyday carry setup.

Brutal Beauty
Constructed from two solid slabs of titanium, the handle is both tough and refined. Each scale is meticulously machined with crowned surfaces for comfort and style, while the reverse side integrates a Reeve Integral Lock (RIL) with a hardened steel interface for long-lasting security. The oversized pivot pin doesn’t just hold it all together — it adds a visual centrepiece and acts as an overtravel stop for the lock bar.
Finished in a rugged, industrial-style stonewash, every detail from the blade and backspacer to the machined titanium pocket clip is designed to stand up to real-world use while keeping a low-profile, no-nonsense look. The clip is set for right-side, tip-up carry, ensuring the knife stays ready for action whenever you need it.
