Designed by renowned Polish custom knifemaker Marcin Slysz, the original Techno folding knife set a new standard for compact strength and utility. The Techno 2 continues this legacy, enhancing the original design with superior functionality, ease of maintenance, and even greater performance.
The Techno 2 features a stonewash-finished blade crafted from 3.5mm-thick (0.138 inches) CTS® XHP stainless steel. The blade’s high saber grind maintains a full-thickness spine for added strength, while offering exceptional edge geometry for low-friction cutting. The near-sheepfoot profile improves point utility, and the thoughtful jimping (textured grooves) on the thumb ramp provides a secure purchase, allowing for maximum control during use.
The handle of the Techno 2 is constructed from two solid titanium scales, precision machined from 6AL-4V titanium, with a sleek stonewashed matte finish. Each scale features machined recesses to accommodate the knife's deep-pocket wire clip, which is easily reversible for left- or right-side, tip-up carry. The reverse-side scale houses the knife’s robust Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism, which securely locks the blade open during use and can be effortlessly released with one hand. Green-anodised titanium standoffs join the two handle halves, creating an open-backed construction that reduces overall weight while allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance. The handle also includes a generously sized lanyard hole, ideal for attaching lanyards or fobs.
