Vintage Charm, Real Utility
Compact, refined, and intelligently engineered, the Spin represents the smallest expression within Spyderco’s “Little Big Knife” philosophy, delivering genuine cutting utility in an ultra-slim, highly portable format. Designed by Eric Glesser, it was conceived as a discreet everyday tool that retains meaningful performance despite its minimal footprint, blending clean styling with practical ergonomics for effortless daily carry.
This example is a time capsule find, it is in pristine, as new condition and complete with original box.
"These thoughtful little knives are utterly stunning. Practical too." - Mr. Narwhal
Thoughtfully Engineered
The blade is crafted from VG-10 stainless steel and ground into a Wharncliffe profile, offering a straight, highly usable cutting edge paired with a fine, controlled tip for detailed tasks. When closed, it folds into a flat stainless steel handle laser-engraved with a subtle spiderweb pattern, adding texture and visual character without compromising slimness. A modified Integral Lock system, based on Chris Reeve’s linerless design approach, uses the handle scale itself as the locking mechanism, maintaining strength while reducing bulk. A stainless steel three-screw clip allows tip-down pocket carry and also supports alternative carry options such as money-clip use, reinforcing the Spin’s role as a versatile, ultra-compact everyday companion.
