Its ultra-thin, full-flat-ground blade is crafted from Carpenter Technology’s nitrogen-enriched CTS BD1N stainless steel, offering a well-balanced combination of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance and straightforward sharpening. A sturdy back lock secures the blade, while the integral Boye Dent in the lock release provides additional resistance against unintended closure. The linerless handle is injection moulded from tough fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), combining longitudinal grooves with a pebbled texture to provide a secure, controlled grip without adding unnecessary bulk. A reversible deep-pocket wire clip allows discreet left or right-side tip-up carry, while the lanyard hole provides a convenient attachment point for a fob or lanyard. At just 23 g, the Charisma is an exceptionally capable example of lightweight Spyderco design.
