Founded in 2014 by Les and Marianne Halpern in Three Rivers, Massachusetts, TRM grew from the Halpern family's long-established precision machining business, Halpern Titanium. After nearly two decades producing components for many of America's leading knife manufacturers, they turned their expertise towards creating knives of their own, with a simple philosophy: build practical cutting tools without compromise.

Every TRM knife is designed, machined and assembled in Massachusetts using American-made materials, with premium blade steels including CPM-20CV and MagnaCut. Their reputation, however, has been built on far more than impressive specifications. TRM knives are celebrated for their incredibly thin blade geometry, allowing them to glide effortlessly through cardboard, plastic, rope, food and the countless cutting tasks that make up everyday life. They are lightweight, discreet to carry and engineered with a level of precision that has made them favourites amongst collectors and users alike.

Models such as the TRM Atom, Neutron 2, Nerd, Shadow and Bulldog have developed devoted followings thanks to their superb ergonomics, outstanding slicing performance and impeccable fit and finish. One of TRM's most distinctive features is their innovative hot-swappable scale system, allowing owners to change between G10, Micarta, carbon fibre and beautifully machined titanium scales without dismantling the knife. It's a wonderfully practical design that lets you personalise your knife in minutes while preserving the factory-tuned action.
