Benchmade History

The 746 features a 3.45-inch modified clip-point blade in 154CM stainless steel, with an ambidextrous thumb-hole opener and Benchmade’s AXIS Lock mechanism. Its contoured black G-10 scales are fitted over full 420J stainless steel liners, giving the handle a solid, refined construction, while the tip-up pocket clip provides practical carry. At 7.78 inches overall and weighing 3.90 oz, the Mini-Onslaught is substantially more compact than the 741 while retaining the same core design and mechanical character. Benchmade lists the 154CM blade at 58–61 HRC, making this a particularly representative example of the brand's early-2010s production knives.
