This Shot Show Exclusive Bailout was produced in limited numbers in 2023. It features a blade in CPM-3V, orange anodised aluminium scales with teal anodised accents. This particular iteration is in like new condition and is complete with original box. The grinds are also perfectly even.
Key Performance Properties CPM-3V
- Toughness: Exceptional. It is one of the best choices for hard-use, fixed-blade outdoor and survival knives that experience shock.
- Edge Retention: Good. It holds a working edge much longer than standard carbon steels, though less than high-carbide super steels like CPM M4.
- Corrosion Resistance: Moderate. At 7.5% chromium, it resists staining better than plain carbon steel, but it will rust or patina if left wet or dirty.
- Sharpening: Easier to sharpen and grind than high-carbide wear-resistant steels due to its fine powder-metal structure.
