The Böker Kalashnikov AK-47 Damast is a particularly distinctive interpretation of Böker’s iconic Kalashnikov folder, combining its instantly recognisable design with an unusually rich piece of military-inspired material history. At the heart of this edition is a striking Damascus blade produced by renowned American bladesmith Chad Nichols, featuring his distinctive Viral pattern and, most notably, Damascus made from genuine Soviet era Kalashnikov bayonets. The resulting blade gives each knife an individual pattern and a fascinating connection to the history behind the design, making this far more than a conventional production variant. For collectors and enthusiasts, the combination of Böker’s familiar Kalashnikov platform and genuinely unusual Damascus construction gives this edition considerable character and collectable appeal.
This example is in excellent, unused condition. There are some shiny specs on the lip of the pocketclip and some very light scratches on the blade from oiling, possibly even from factory. Complete with original display case/box.
