The Alien features an Elmax steel blade paired with precision-machined titanium scales, delivering a sophisticated combination of lightweight construction, durability and premium materials. Its most notable feature is the bespoke non-locking mechanism, developed around integral spring elements within the titanium handle rather than a conventional backspring. This innovative approach became an important part of the design’s lineage and was subsequently adapted for the Spyderco PITS 2. A titanium pocket clip completes the understated construction, providing discreet everyday carry while maintaining the knife’s exceptionally clean lines.
