The Monkey Wrench is a purpose-built maintenance tool designed for adjusting the pivots on a wide range of Strider and Hinderer folding knives. Machined from durable tempered 416 stainless steel, it is built for repeated use and features a dual-ended design, with one side specifically shaped for Strider pivots and the other for Hinderer pivots. A precision centring pin on the Strider end helps keep the tool securely engaged during adjustment, reducing the risk of slipping or marking the knife's hardware. The tool is also carefully machined without sharp or unnecessarily hard edges, making it comfortable to handle while protecting the surrounding finish of your knife.

The Strider end is compatible with the standard large Strider bull pivot found on models including the SnG and SMF, as well as most other Strider folders, although it is not compatible with the PT. The Hinderer end is designed to fit almost the entire range of current and past Hinderer folding knives, with the Firetac being the notable exception.
