This remarkable edition pays tribute to Crucible Industries, the pioneers behind many of the knife world’s most revered blade steels and was originally produced exclusively for Crucible employees. After Crucibles collapse, the remaining knives, between 200-300 pieces, were advertised for sale through the Spyderco Factory Outlet, it represents a genuinely rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to own one of the most exclusive Para Military 2 variants ever produced.

One of the Rarest PM2 Exclusives
At its core is a full-flat-ground blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut, the groundbreaking powder metallurgy stainless steel developed by metallurgist Dr Larrin Thomas. Renowned for its exceptional combination of edge retention, toughness and outstanding corrosion resistance, MagnaCut has quickly established itself as one of the finest all-round blade steels available. The blade is finished with a durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating and laser engraved with the Crucible Industries logo, commemorating the knife’s unique heritage. Completing the package are striking peel-ply-textured G-10 scales with alternating red and black layers, precision machined with Spyderco’s Bi-Directional Texture pattern to create a distinctive high-contrast, high-traction finish. Black-coated liners, hardware and a four-position pocket clip complement the blade, while the proven Compression Lock mechanism and open-backed construction retain all the performance and practicality that have made the Para Military 2 an enduring favourite among enthusiasts.
