Originally designed by Danish custom knifemakers Jens Anso and Jesper Voxnaes, the Pingo was created with strict compliance to Danish knife regulations in mind, resulting in a compact, non-locking folder that prioritises simplicity, legality, and everyday practicality. This limited Sprint Run version refines the concept further, introducing solid titanium handle scales that elevate the design into a more premium, collector-focused interpretation while retaining the understated, purposeful character of the original within Spyderco’s line-up.
This example is in excellent condition, it does have some very light marks on the showside scale commensurate with some light pocket-time, otherwise mint. Complete with original box.

Minimal Form, Refined Build
The full flat-ground blade is precision machined from Elmax powder metallurgy stainless steel, delivering excellent edge stability, corrosion resistance, and refined cutting performance in daily use. Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole enables straightforward two-handed opening, while a full-length backspring and notched-joint mechanism provide secure blade positioning without the use of a lock. The titanium handle scales are satin finished and precisely machined for a clean, modern aesthetic, accented by a blue anodised Spyderco bug inlay that adds a subtle signature detail. A reversible wire clip ensures fully ambidextrous, tip-up carry, completing a minimalist yet highly engineered design.
