At its core, the Bailout retains its factory CPM-M4 tool steel tanto blade, finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote for a distinctive appearance and an additional protective layer. CPM-M4 is valued for its excellent wear resistance, toughness and edge retention, making it a popular choice among enthusiasts who appreciate high-performance tool steels. Further refinement comes from Knives Plus oversized washers, selected to increase the bearing surface at the blade pivot for improved stability and exceptionally smooth opening action.
