The blade is crafted from CPM S30V, a premium stainless steel valued for its combination of edge retention, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and features a full-flat grind with a distinctive recurve profile. The handle uses peel-ply laminated carbon fibre over G-10, supported by steel liners, giving the Mantra 3 a lightweight yet substantial construction. A Compression Lock provides secure blade retention, while the CQI ball-bearing pivot system delivers smooth flipper action. The deep-carry wire clip offers discreet, tip-up pocket carry, completing a carefully engineered package that balances Spyderco’s traditional ergonomics with a more contemporary flipper design.
