The Zero Tolerance ZT0850 represents an exceptional collaboration between two highly regarded names in custom knife design, Dmitry Sinkevich and Todd Rexford. First introduced in 2017, this distinctive folder brings together Sinkevich’s flowing design language and Rexford’s meticulous attention to mechanical detailing, resulting in one of the more unusual and ambitious designs in the Zero Tolerance collection. Inspired by an original custom collaboration of which only two examples were produced, the production ZT0850 retains much of the character of its custom predecessor while introducing a sophisticated combination of sculpted carbon fibre, precision-machined hardware and distinctive revolver-inspired detailing. Now discontinued, the ZT0850 is an increasingly interesting prospect for collectors and enthusiasts, offering a rare opportunity to own a particularly memorable piece of Zero Tolerance design history.
This example is in like new condition except for two exceptionally light scratches in the blade satin visible only directional lighting, practically invisible. Complete with original box and papers.

Designed to Be Different
The 3.75-inch sheepsfoot blade, running on washers, is precision ground from CPM 20CV stainless steel, a premium particle metallurgy steel renowned for its outstanding wear resistance, excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. Its two-tone finish combines stonewashed flats with satin-finished grinds, creating a subtle contrast that complements the knife's sophisticated styling. The sculpted carbon fibre composite handle provides an excellent balance of strength and reduced weight, incorporating Zero Tolerance's patented Sub-Frame Lock mechanism with a hardened steel lockbar insert. Further highlights include the distinctive revolver-drum-inspired thumb stud, an intricately machined aluminium backspacer reminiscent of a barrel shroud and a custom titanium pocket clip for right-handed, tip-up carry. With its unusual mechanical detailing, premium materials and exceptional design pedigree, the ZT0850 is a standout example of Zero Tolerance's more adventurous design collaborations.
