Small Format. Serious Character.
The Spyderco Subway Bowie is a compact fixed-blade design by renowned French knifemaker Fred Perrin, translating his distinctive Bowie-inspired styling and ergonomic approach into an exceptionally discreet package. Its diminutive proportions belie a remarkably purposeful design, with the straight-clipped blade, pronounced finger choil and textured spine jimping giving the Subway Bowie its unmistakable character. The FRN handle is moulded directly around the tang, creating a clean, lightweight construction, while the compact format makes it particularly well suited to discreet everyday carry. Supplied with a custom-moulded Boltaron sheath and breakaway ball chain, the Subway Bowie is an appealing choice for enthusiasts who appreciate innovative design and compact fixed-blade construction.

"This little knife is so cool. Fred Perrin knows exactly where to place the tip in the design of his knives, sounds weird until you get it in hand." - Mr. Narwhal
Built Small. Designed Smart.
The 2.8-inch blade is crafted from LC200N, an ultra-corrosion-resistant stainless steel particularly well suited to everyday carry where low-maintenance performance is valued. The blade features a saber grind and a 3 mm thickness, while the injection-moulded FRN handle incorporates Perrin’s signature finger choil and textured jimping for a secure, controlled grip. A lanyard hole allows the supplied paracord lanyard to be fitted, while the custom Boltaron sheath provides secure storage and supports the included breakaway ball-chain carry system. Manufactured in Japan, the Subway Bowie combines premium Spyderco engineering with Perrin’s characteristically compact and distinctive design language.
