The F95 Braces pairs a premium CPM-S90V stainless steel blade with a precision-machined titanium handle and a frame-lock mechanism, delivering the exceptional fit, finish and mechanical refinement for which Shirogorov has earned its reputation. S90V is a high-performance powder-metallurgy steel with a particularly high vanadium content, prized for its outstanding resistance to abrasive wear and excellent edge retention. Equally distinctive is the pivot system: rather than relying on the ball-bearing arrangements found in many Shirogorov models, the Braces runs on washers. Properly tuned and broken in, this arrangement delivers an exceptionally smooth, controlled action with a tactile mechanical character all of its own.
